Dorotheaa is committed to utilizing sustainable materials and practices, while promoting eco-friendly fashion.
We are using sustainable materials for our collection for Fashion Week San Diego (FWSD), titled 'Dark Fae Masquerades.” We purchased recycled and dead-stock fabrics, along with scrap materials that allows us to re-use textiles that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
We had an opportunity to create a design using fully sustainable materials for the runway during FWSD 2022. We used recycled cardboard, tote bags, a t-shirt and bottle caps to create a full outfit!
The apparel industry is one of the largest polluters of air and water on the planet. Dorotheaa is dedicated to reducing our environmental impact and increasing the cleansing of the apparel industry.
One of a Kind Sustainable Design. Iridescent twill fabric sourced from SCRAP Reuse PDX. This dress was designed with just a piece of scrap that was donated, and now turned into a work of art. Featuring hand painted acrylic feather designs.
